01.March 2010 Most power supplies provide 9 and/or 12V DC. If you want to use your Overdrive with higher voltage for a better tone, you don’t need another power supply. The X2 Voltage Doubler is the solution. Just put 9V DC in, and you get 18V DC, the X2 simply doubles the voltage. Meanwhile many pedals already need 24V DC. If you’ve got 12V DC on your pedal board, just take the X2 Voltage Doubler. With a compact design, it fits conveniently almost every pedalboard or can be hidden underneath it. Included is a CROSS (center positive) AND a STRAIGHT (center negative) DC adapter cable that will work with most pedals out there. Do not forget to check your manual so you won't overpower your stomp boxes!
