Review text:
First thing that I find interesting about this flute is its price. The price is absolutely comparable with plastic recorders and this has compelled me to buy and to try it. I have to say that sound is a truly different in comparison with plastic recorders. Another difference is the body construction which is made from two separately pieces only. This shapes the flute into more massive and clear image. I personally prefer simply wooden design of this Musica Line instead of inflated ones (for exam …

Positives:
pear-tree hard type of wood, massive and clear design, warm and finely full sound, any excessive loud high tones, explicitly the best choice in its price range, comparable price with plastic recorders
Negatives:
slightly slurred tones in low attitude, natural finish on the fipple is rubbed off

Review text:
Aulos 205A Robin flute is also one of the most used instruments for beginners similarly as the Yamaha recorders. Aulos soprano flute possess baroque system fingering and pleasant rounded tone. Sound of this wind instrument doesn't contain any screaming tones and it is not high-keyed in the comparison with Yamaha flutes of the same level. As a negative I can point out that this Aulos loses clarity of sound in high tones which are veiled. Basically, Aulos flute has almost faultless intonation. Sou …

Review text:
The Yamaha YRS-20B Soprano flute is special offer above all for the littlest kids. Look like toy designates this flute to become one of the most popular wind instruments for children. Manufacturer declares that flute has very similar features as the model YRS-24B but from my experience it is apparently not so identical. Quality of sound as well as overall features is lower in comparison with higher model. As a convenience we can count light weight and body made of 3 separable parts allowing easy …

Review text:
The Yamaha YRS-24B C-Soprano descant flute is suitable for beginners including small children as well as amateur players. Flute will come in one pack with cloth bag and fingering chart. Moreover, I have washed the bag in the washing machine and apparently it can withstand it. Instrument has light weight and is built from 3 separate pieces made of plastic so one can clean the flute easily. Only thing you need is a bit of tap water. After the wash it is necessary to dry the flute up with a piece o …
