Boutique guitar and bass tube overdrive pedal with your budget in mind Fully Handmade in the Slovak Republic (E.U.) with one JJ-Electronic ECC83 tube. It's excellent for Blues and Rock, ideal as a pick up booster for guitar amps. This boutique overdrive is able to provide even solid state amp with the warmness of tubes as well as to provide your sound with the dynamics and brightness giving that proper amount of juice. Gerhat Tube Driver + boutique overdrive pedal features switch for turning the pedal into bass guitar mode.  Gerhat Tube Driver+ boutique overdrive pedal can be equiped with additional output with integrated speaker simulator which is very useful tool for direct-in usage. Battery powering is not possible; however 12V power supply is included with effects pedal.

In the guitar→pedal→power-amp setup it behaves also very nicely. Even despite relatively small number of controls this overdrive is equipped with it gives very wide range of sounds. Especially those that suits to strat-type guitars are very nice. The ECC83 tube can be clearly heard in its sound.

The best practice when used as a drive booster is to keep drive up to 50%. It gives very nice results even with guitars equipped with the humbucker pickups.
